Last of Thrones

Character Report in the last episode of GoT As high and mighty a series can get, Game of Thrones has achieved the status of all time favourite of the masses. It also happens to be the only epic fantasy saga to ever be broadcasted. And for a show of this big stature, it’s ending season hasn’t been fulfilling. From various gathered ratings, the last season has hit rock bottom in the entire long run of the show. Not to mention, the story writer G. R. R. Martin himself has been unsatisfied with the ending of the show. With everyone unhappy in the frame, the makers have concluded the show with their view of the Westeros. There is much to say about absurdity of the whole season, but the last episode has been an utter disappointment in the eyes of the viewers due to an unnatural end. With a critical look, here is a small analysis of a few characters in the last episode. Jon Snow The most loved, people’s champion and very upheld character of the series, has been jeopardised. The...

Pigeons

Amidst this ever-changing weather, they are the only ones who keep coming back. Wanted to get rid of them eventually but they have become a part of our life which has stuck over the years when many left and lost touch. Their presence is no longer a pain. They feel familiar. As usual, they have found a place in our house for themselves to hammer their tents and continue the cycle of life. The same spot at which they always strive to make a nest. They will breed the new ones and the children will grow up and eventually fly away. Leading their own lives, forgetting the hand that fed them. They will then join the finite marathon of life. It’s this very strange behaviour that perplexes me. Most of the animals have a lifelong intertwined sense of family and attachment. But they seem to follow some different concept of life. They are different than the most. I wonder if their petit body accommodates’s a heart inside! Maybe it does. Maybe that’s why they have a ...

The Rains

Finally, the rain arrives from far high up, in all its desperation it's crashing down to earth. I have been waiting for it its arrival had been due for a long time. And Dust! it's fatal, life gets cluttered eventually with the storms of dust that make it difficult to breathe at times. it's this when we need to keep holding on to the pillar of hope. the droplets of time will eventually settle the dust. Cool Breeze! it will dissolve the unrest inside me, and wash my eyes off the burden of broken dreams to make way for new ones. These rains are the means of my escape. Always have been. Always will be. They help me get through. And I won't stop till they don't.

The Watch

Funny how we attach things to sentiments. Or is it the other way around? I can’t really say. If there is something I can say it’s that whenever he looks at the watch on his wrist, which has been guiding him for 5 years, all he can remember is, and I quote, “In order to be successful and to stand out, always think two steps ahead. Plan your next move.” The invaluable advice given to him while putting it on his left wrist before he was leaving for college. Well, leaving home for the first time in particular. It’s not just a watch to him now. It’s an emotion. A statement of pride, faith and love, given to him by his father. And he wears it like a badge of honour. People often have an inclination towards materialism. The expensive apparels, the costly gadgets and other shiny objects whose inherent luminescence blinds them. Left with the grey visions, the sparkles of the world engulf their lives with the blues of desire. It shivers him to the spine, that someday it will get over...

Wavering Mind

There is a reason why we call the thing inside our skull, as Mind. Because as the word suggests, it is under control. That’s the actual difference between a mind and a brain. A brain is not controlled, not streamlined, wild, though full of ideas and imaginations, but also with conflicting issues. It is like an untamed horse. It runs where it wants, when it wants, with who it wants. And as the world around us suggests, one should always stay in control. That’s why we train our brains to be under control. How? Well it has the very clichéd answer. Through education. With years and years of education and training we TRY to control the one thing that possesses a great power. Some succeed and some don’t. But what if the same process which is used to tame the wild horse becomes the reason for it to become more wild? What to do then? In the current scenario, according to many wise men, we are in a race. A race to reach our destinations. To achieve our goals. To fulfil our dreams. Educat...

Everyone has got their own storms

People always try to "make the world a better place to live" Well, guess what folks! It's not getting any better. It's only getting worse. Owing to the behaviour of people and mental trauma that almost every person is facing & is avoiding to talk about. It's only causing an unrest. Everyone has got their own storms. And this storm is the main problem. Oh, you don't agree! Ask yourself. Even you have problems and situations you don't want to face because you are just too afraid of it. And you are not ready to do anything about it. It's just easy for you to give up because then you don't have to face anything. So much simpler isn't it! If you have a problem, Don't face it! Problem solved. But let me tell you something. You are not just affecting yourself by not facing it. You are being a trouble to others too. You are like cancer for Happy and Well people. Who are ready to live with what they have; satisfied with their things and con...

A Driving Lesson

I'm about to discuss something different than I usually do. Though the usual stuff is also bizarre, but that's just a happy coincidence. What will be the best way to stop a car safely and quickly, if you are at a high speed and it suddenly becomes a matter of life and death? Let's suppose you are driving at a speed of 60kmph and suddenly something(or someone) comes in front of you. Assuming you don't have a vehicle with power breaks, what shall be the sequence of events to slow down the car, possibly make it come to a halt? Normally people have a reflex of pulling clutch first, putting off the leg from the throttle and then applying the break. That's decent choice to do but that's only if the vehicle is in controllable speeds, i.e. near 40kmph. What will you do if your speed is too much and you are to stop? Think. It a matter of life. What can you possibly do to make sure everyone is safe. Think. Think. Let me give you a hint. It's just a chan...

Slave

Few generation before land used to be synonymous with power. The more the land a person possessed, the more powerful he was.  Because the land could be put to many uses. Agriculture, shelter, and what not! And those were the days of barter system. People would rent their lands for various uses. But times have changed since then. Times have changed. Education has changed it. The flow of knowledge today has never been like this in the past. It has shaped the world around us. The key to success and enlightenment in theses days is education. There has been enormous growth and development due to it. It has provided mankind with various occupations and a whole new lifestyle. Humankind has more comfort and a better understanding of things. This is a different Era. But even in times like this, there are many for whom education is an unaffordable luxury. The world's poor. They don't have enough money to get into proper institutions. And it's not their fault. Education has been c...

The Door Closed on Us

An end beautifully portrayed: I saw you today. You were on the other side of the road, all smiles, and holding hands, about to enter a cafe. And I felt the crowd around me scrutinizing my every move. You might have seen me, or perhaps you didn't, but you turned around and I saw how beautiful you have grown over the years. You were no more a girl, but a lady; and the red blush of your cheeks suggested that you were in love. And I should have been heartbroken at this. Not because you were happy, but because I wasn't its cause. But, I wasn't. I wasn't and I never felt so free before. You walked into the cafe and the door closed behind you and with it the door closed on us , and I wasn't in love anymore. -credit for this Scribblious: Angkur Sharma

Vulnerable Guising Fool

You might have met some people who behave in a stupid way even when they meet you the first time. And obviously people are not much comfortable in seeing them in future because lets face it, no one is attracted to guys who become weirdly stupid when they should put on their best to try and impress the crowd near them. But here's the catch. It's not always that people put on their STUPID mask to be weird in front of others. There's a difference in being a fool and being vulnerable. And there's a reason for their vulnerability. It's because they want to make the atmosphere a less restricted and fortified, in other words, to make others open. Because that's the key. It's only then when the people open up and share their feelings and thoughts. To make the people around much comfortable and frank in the conversation that may come up. But clearly, "normal" people are not able to make out the difference between the ongoing vulnerability an...

It comes and goes

Life sometimes gets so messed up that it gets hard for once to recognise oneself in those situations. So it did for me. I know I am using 'did' to refer it as it happened in the past, whereas actually, it bothers me in the present as well. I know it becomes difficult to find inner peace and the person no longer knows what or how he actually was, even though he lives in the past but that's the past that became the very reason for him to become weird at the first place. I don't know how, but somehow out of the blue, in the middle of all that mess and hatred, the "LOST" little guy managed to come up and made me do the right thing. It was a text. I know sometimes things need to be done in person, as in for real rather than being a virtual presence, but I didn't know what would happen if I actually see her. So I texted. "I know I have been weird to you lately, but I should not be this way. I know it has been hard for you too. But it has been uncontain...

Piece of Shit | That Dream

<LATE PUBLISH. Original date of writing: February 5, 2017> Sitting in front of the only girl I have ever loved, looking back on those days, all in my head and feeling depressed and angry. She didn't even say a word and I imagined that she said "sorry". Here is what comes next from my mouth, almost as instantly as my mind was making things up... I am not mad at you, I am mad at what you did. Umh..actually....I am mad at you. And not just because of you, its because I m mad at myself too. And by that I am not giving you the green card to move out of the scene; you see it all started because of you and what you did is the primary reason for me being like this. I am mad at not just you and me but at anyone who stupidly enough talks to their "SOUL MATES" < as if that actually means something > in a manner which is nothing but a very over-dramatic display of love, which is no more there & has been all worn off b/w them, just to ke...

When a system is hit by a KERNEL PANIC there's nothing much that can be done. An internal fatal error is hard to recover from. INTERNAL FATAL ERROR sounds pretty bad doesn't it I have had an INTERNAL FATAL ERROR due to a SHELLSHOCK and experienced my system getting into endless idle loop as the kernel panic hit me but that't it it needs to end time to take back the control time to REBOOT the system I WILL NOT BE OWNED not anymore

The Sight

I see the winter moon and the starry night. I see a woman, smiling at her child's innocent questions. I see lovers on a long yet finite path, embracing the young love in the winter breeze. I see light from a lamp at the corner of the street, a man holding a photo of her lost wife under it. I see a shopkeeper, waiting for customers in the shivering eve. I see a labour family, parents feeding the new ones. I see my barren arms, once warm with love. I see it all, and yet I see nothing.

Meeting Inspiration

People. Human beings. We are social animals. And by that, I don't wish to take the discussion to idealistic direction like our well-known orator Simon Sinek, but rather a different place. Being in a social environment gives us the opportunity to interact with many people. Some of them being different and astonishing. And communicating with other social beings may sometimes inspire us in various ways (well at least those who seek inspiration or are able to see the same in anything). It was until recently that I met someone and realized the above. I was visiting my friend one day at his college. I was happy to see him after 4 years. We chatted and then planned to roam around the city a little. It was then when we stumbled upon this short roadside event. It was a group of people/students who were performing a play. It's called Nukkad-Natak locally. I and my friend were just enjoying the funny play. But there he was, the third guy, a friend of my friend, who ...

Faith can move Mountains

People follow what they are told from the beginning. Blindly. With all the faith. And consider it the universal truth. A truly waste of faith, when they can put the same faith in themselves and become better at something. Human mind has the capability to question things and to have things reasoned out. Its that question which has led to creation of Buddhism. Its not that I am praising any religion or certain community as what I write can not be fortified by any religion. Its just that I admire the true potential of mind used for it. Also I don't portray the idea of loosing one's belief in something. Just questioning it. Redirecting if necessary. Quoting Mr.William Walker Atkinson from his book, " Faith Power or Your Inspirational Forces " Faith, if directed toward evil and feared things, operates with as much force as if directed toward good and desired things. Question things. Their existence. What it contains. Whether or not it des...

the Begining

Hither onward, shalt start a journey, to view life from a divergent perspective Let this be the voice of the mind, that 't states what 't doth feel.  Free flow of thoughts and what power it may possess to change minds shall be held in here.
